The 5th Annual Moraira Music Festival- SUNDAY 8th JUNE 6.45 p.m. till late Live on stage by the Castle at the sea front ,with many local bands and vocalists appearing. Dont miss this FREE concert- but please buy drinks from the bar provided to aid Fiesta funds.
NEW RESTAURANT OPENED IN JAVEA EL RANCHO - Ctra Cabo La Nao, Javea ( nr Hotel Rodat) Sheila Williams and her son John bring a wealth of experience to this new venue- having had similar businesses in many parts of the World- including Puerto Rico, Costa Del Sol, The Canaries and Benidorm.
After many weeks of refitting, cleaning and planting, at last El Rancho was considered ready for opening - and for the first Sunday lunch it was packed with customers! With low prices, good food, lots of choice, and service with a smile, they will be very popular.
Lots of places to eat- on the many terraces, in small private dining rooms, upstairs with views, and a rear terrace- with a new Bar being built - will be ready soon for ceremonies and private parties outside. May 10th-Wedding- Dr Lisa & Andrew- Parador Hotel, Javea It was the most dreadul of weekends - storms, rain, cold, wind- it couldn't be worse for a wedding! Everything that was to be held outside had to be relocated indoors. Lisa and Andy put on a brave face and were determined to make the best of it and have a very special day.
The ceremony was held in the Bahia Suite of the Parador Hotel with 100 guests. Lisa wore a beautiful champagne gown encrusted with jewels and the bridesmaids wore shocking pink satin. Cava and canapes were served before they were all transported back to Andrews family Villa.
After a short lull in the rain, when drinks were taken in the garden, the party went inside for the main meal. Later after speeches, it was down the bar in the basement where 'Paisley Park' Band had them all dancing until the early hours.

May11th- Hog Roast - Dr Lisa and Andy, Javea The day after the wedding, guests were invited to a lunchtime hog roast at the Villa for a relaxed get together before many of them went back to the UK.
