We are professional ladies that have experienced many years of life in Spain, and we have owned and managed businesses here and in the UK . Only many years of living and working in Spain give you the information you need to know about businesses and people here; those that carry out high quality work, and are reliable and honest, with a reasonable cost. We can remove the worry for you and arrange your requests ourselves, and oversee any work to ensure it is done to a high standard and is value for your money. Many clients contact us by email or by phone- you do not have to be in Spain for us to arrange that the work is carried out. We are pleased to answer queries, give advice, take on small tasks, or plan and organise large projects. We speak many languages between us.
DIRECTOR
Sue Coley has lived in the North Costa Blanca for many years. She formed an S. L. Company ( Ltd) which she still owns. Soon after she arrived in Spain, a shop was opened that hired out equipment for building, gardening and maintenance, and also provided all types of services for clients. At one stage she had a Staff of 14 people working on many projects Much of the time she was involved in solving a huge variety of clients problems and arranging many types of work or events- which has continued to the present day. Sue also has managed and improved another S.L. Company in Spain that provided a service of furniture and fittings installation in new and resale properties.
Prior to moving to Spain, Sue was working freelance; advising on setting up businesses in the UK and was also involved in Market Research, competitor surveys, etc for many clients, including:- Rolls Royce, Rainbow Childrens' Nusery Group. Sutcliffe Estate Agents and many well known Companies. Before this she was UK and Parts of Europe Accounts/ Sales Manager and 'troubleshooter' for a Global Chemical and Engineering Company. She was also involved in organising and hosting small and large hospitality events of all types for corporate clients. Silvia Calles- our multi -lingual expert Silvia lives in the North Costa Blanca. She was born in Mexico, has lived for many years in Holland and has family in Brazil. Languages skills include English, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese and some French and German. Women in Business Club Sue is one of the original group and is on the Committee of women in the Costa Blanca that founded the WIBC, which now has many hundreds of members and is a Registered Legal Association. ( see www.wibc-spain.com ) Formed by Karla Darocas, the club is very active in fundraising for the local Womens' Refuges, and works with local councils, the media etc, to raise awareness of the high rate of domestic violence in Spain. This is for women and children of ALL different Nationalities. The WIBC ladies, as well as organising fundraisers, arrange social and cultural activities, workshops and networking. They liaise with Javea, Denia and Calpe council to improve services offered to women, e.g. free legal advice centres, special satellite tracked mobiles, shelters - guarded 24 hours a day, Psychologists, Counsellors. The ladies also ensure donations of toys, school items, clothes, and the provision of special funds for emergency situations. The Club also 'networks' and offers support to women who join. Women do not need to work or have a business to join.
2008 WIBC News Sunday 18th May- wibc 5th Anniversdary Party- El Portet Beach, Moraira.
March 7th 2008- International Womens' Day Event held at Salon Canor, Teulada. Fundraiser on 2 floors, 2 stages- both with all day shows. 100 business stands, food, drink, music, fashion, health & beauty, jewellery, massive amounts of brilliant raffle prizes and more. Another hugely successful fundraiser.

10th December- Xmas Lunch at Restaurant Asia, Benitachell.
25th November-Hotel Diamante,Calpe - Xmas Extravaganza Fund raiser. All day Stage Show, many type of business stands, Father Xmas, Home Produce sale, and a huge amount of fantastic raffle prizes. We raised over 5,000 Euros. (This day is Global day of 'no violence against women')
1st November -Help line- 016 The new help line and support number for all victims of domestic violence is now here - dial 016 - which will not show on your phone bill, and you can talk to someone in several languages, including English.
May 19th - Our 3rd wibc Anniversary party at Hotel Casa de Sant Jaume, Nr Benissa. Buffet, disco and good fun had by all!
March 8th - INTERNATIONAL WOMENS' DAY EVENT Our 3rd IWD at the Marriott Hotel -what a fantastic day! Our previous record for fund raising was broken. WIBC Events pre - 2007
March 5th 2006 IWD The 2nd International Womens' Day Event at the 5* Melia Villa Gadea Hotel, Altea, with 8 hours interactive stage, and over 100 trade stands. Again a very successful day, raising money and awareness for our cause.
March 8th 2005 IWD The first very successful International Womens' Day event organised by wibc, at the 5*Marriott Hotel, Denia, visited by many thousands of guests and raising further funds to assist the womens' and childrens' shelters.
Aged debtors' list. Sadly there are those for whom we have carried out work successfully,or obtained products for them and who have ignored repeated requests for payments, and made no offers to us. We therefore have decided to 'name & shame' them, as Court proceedings here can take a long time, even years.....
