Julie & Steve's Renewal of Vows in Benidorm
It was a warm dry day as November was wonderful weather all month. Julie & Steve have been together for many years and married for 10 of them. It was also Julie's 40th Birthday - so they decided that another wedding ceremony in Benidorm would be perfect to combine with their holiday they had planned with family and friends.
The ceremony was held on the roof terrace of the Hotel, where Rev. Clive Read conducted the lovely service. Julie wore a beautiful red dress, and the bridesmaids were very pretty in white. Steve wore a red tie with his smart dark suit.
Afterwards drinks were held on the terrace, then everyone went into the Restaurant for a superb hot and cold buffet that was far too much for everyone to eat.
Later they all carried on the celebrations around this lively town, which had a Fiesta ongoing, so lots of games and music was in every street! Weddings in Benidorm are always such fun!
So, it is congratulations and best wishes to Julie & Steve for a very special occasion!
Hayley and Garys' Wedding in Denia
How wonderful the Bridal party looked when they came down the stairs into the tropical garden for the wedding. The children were like fairy princesses, the Bridesmaids in white, and the Bride in a glamorous fitted white dress with exquisite embroidery overlay.
The Denia wedding ceremony was conducted by Rev. Clive who added his usual touch of humour to make the couple feel at ease. Afterwards drinks and canapes were served outside and photographs taken.
Dinner was served inside later, and after the children had eaten they were entertained all night by Lisa the Clown and her assistant - with games, fun and music. Everyone else danced the night away to our fab local band 'Strikland' followed by DJ Darrell till very late.
Hayley was a very special Bride and she looked radiant when she was with Gary. We wish them a very happy life together and send Congratulations. This was a wonderful wedding in Denia.
Bart & Michaelas' Wedding in Javea
This gorgeous couple came from Germany to have their wedding day in a villa in Javea with amazing views over the bay. Friends and family flew from Holland, Germany, and even as far away as America, to be there for the special day in the sunshine.
Michaela, looking gorgeous in her white gown, was given away by her Father to the sounds of guitar music. A family friend conducted the emotional humanist ceremony. Afterwards drinks and canapes were served, then all enjoyed a tapas & paellas dinner.

Later, the well known local Band-The Splashes - had everyone on their feet dancing. As soon as it was dark a firework display was let off nearby, which was followed by a late supper. DJ Francis then played music till the early hours.
A fabulous day for a Javea wedding with very special people- and we send our Congratulations to Bart & Michaela.
Evelyn & Pauls' Wedding in Benidorm
Despite it being stormy all over the Costa Blanca, for this Benidorm wedding it stayed dry fand the ceremony was held in the English church. Evelyn arrived in a beautiful fitted gown carrying pink roses and was then given away by her Brother.
Photographs were taken afterwards overlooking the sea and drinks were had in a local Cafe. Later everyone went to a friend's Restaurant in the Old Town where a lovely dinner and champagne was enjoyed by all.
Evelyn & Paul are such a super couple and it was a joyful day for a wedding in Bendorm. We wish them many more years of happiness together...
Emily & David's Wedding in Javea
Emily's family flew here from New York, and David's family came from Valencia City to celebrate this special day at the Villa. The wedding ceremony in a beautiful Villa in Javea conducted by Pastor Emelio, took place overlooking the sea with spectacular views.
Emily looked so pretty in her 1930's lace wedding gown, with David very handsome in a cream suit. After the ceremony the party began- with food served all evening on the lawn and the Tailgate Jazz band playing.

Lauren & Dave-Their Wedding in Villa Sundance Javea
A hot sunny day heralded the arrival of this elegant and sophisticated bride accompanied by her Father, 3 Bridesmaids in purple, and her daughter Daisy in white.
Drinks and canapes followed, with a paellas and BBQ meal served. Later, after entertainment by Johanna and her Jazz Band, everyone enjoyed a deli supper.
Congratulations to them both. Another lovely wedding day in Javea.
Jaimie & Gavin's Catholic Wedding in Benidorm
The tourists gathered round in the square to enjoy the spectacle of this special day in one of the most beautiful churches in the Costa Blanca. Jaimie arrived with her father, accompanied by her four bridesmaids in blue grey silk.
As it was such a warm day, the Groom and Best men dispensed with jackets and wore grey waistcoats. Christine skilfully provided the organ music, and Padre Juan, who had been practicing his English, conducted the ceremony for this Benidorm wedding.
The tracas, ( firecrackers), a Spanish tradition, let off as the couple exited the church made everyone gasp with surprise! After photos all went to the restaurant where the Bride's Mum lived for a fantastic buffet and a late party with a DJ/ Karaoke.
Jaime & Gavin are a lovely couple and deserve lots of happiness in the future.Their wedding in Benidorm was a huge delight! Congratulations to them both.
Larisha & Jesper's Wedding near Alicante
It was a very hot day by the beach with guests from all over the World - including Jesper's family from Denmark, and Larisha's Indian and Scottish family. Larisha was in a beautiful white lace gown with her two bridesmaid wearing dark aubergine taffeta.
It was a relaxed fun time with lots of rock music, not only for the ceremony, but from the band who played later. A buffet and drinks were served on the terrace overlooking the sea.
The couple are going to the UK to live where Larisha will be starting a University Course on Social Anthropology. We wish her success with this and send Congratulations.
Joanne & David's Catholic Wedding in Torrevieja
Joanne's parents live in Torrevieja, so this lovely couple's dream wedding took place in a beautiful church nearby in Benijofar. The whole day was as colourful as possible- with all flowers and decorations in vibrant pinks, reds, oranges and yellows. Jo in her stunning white gown was given away by her Father, and accompanied by her two gorgeous bridesmaids.
The choir was led by organist Christine and raised the rafters with incredible music. The ceremony was emotional and also filled with humour, as the Padre had practiced his English especially for the day.
Coaches transported the guests to a lovely location nr Alicante overlooking the sea. On arrival drinks and canapes were served, and Ian played the grand piano.
Later a delicious dinner was served on the terrace overlooking the sea, with a flamenco show and guitar to entertain everyone.
The party continued until the early hours with a DJ getting everyone on their feet!
It was a great day with superb weather that all enjoyed. We wish Jo & David many years of happiness and good fortune...Congratulations!
Natalie & Jamie's Wedding in Javea
This couple chose a beautiful location in tropical gardens, overlooking the white sand beach and turquoise sea, for their special day. Natalie was accompanied to the altar with her two young sons and Father.
Drinks & canapes were served on the lawn, and later they had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. of the Hotel in Javea.
Everyone enjoyed this wonderful day and we all sent our best wishes and congratulations to Natalie & Jamie.
Sandra & Nigel's Wedding in Moraira
Sandra, who was so elegant & beautiful in her stylish white gown, walked to the altar with her Father and two pretty Bridesmaids in pink. Nigel, wearing a suit, remained cool despite the hot day. Friends and family locally and from England joined in the celebrations.
It was a lovely day for drinks and canapes outside then a fabulous meal in the cool Restaurant. Later everyone danced the night away with candlelight in the tropical gardens by the pool.
Nigel & Sandra have gone to Granada for their honeymoon- we wish them a wonderful time and send congratulations! It was another wonderful wedding day in Moraira.
Susan & Pauls' Wedding in Denia
It was a beautiful hot Summers day when this couple held their special event in the garden of their Villa in Denia. Close family & friends sat in the cooler shade of the trees to witness the wedding.
The lovely Bride wore an Empire line stylish gown, with her Bridesmaids in tropical colours and flowers to match. Susan was given away by her son, and walked to the altar on a red carpet strewn with cream petals.
After the wedding everyone went into the naya, where it was less windy, to join in with the Minister conducting a 'candle ceremony' - which signifies the merging together of two families.
Then they all enjoyed the drinks and canapes, and later celebrated till late evening at a local Restaurant.
We send many Congratulations to Susan & Paul and wish them much happiness together
as one family.
Veronica & Daniels Wedding in Villa Sundance Javea
Friends & family came from far off places, including American, Poland and the UK, to see Danny & Ronnie tie the knot. Guests were greeted with champagne then a romantic service was held in the gardens, causing a few tears to be shed!
The 6 Bridesmaids were so pretty in purple dresses, and the lovely Bride wore a white strapless crystal encrusted gown with a long train. The Groom and top men looked handsome in their tuxes. Drinks and canapes were enjoyed by everyone after the ceremony.
A delicious meal followed with a 'deli style' supper later. The great music was provided by the well known local band 'Strikland' who had everyone on their feet dancing- young & old!
The party continued to the early hours ..
Congratulations to Danny & Ronnie - a lovely fun couple.
Rebecca & Gordon's Wedding in Moraira
Although they live and work in Dubai, Becci & Gordon have a home here in Spain. They invited family and friends from Australia, Scotland, Dubai, and the Costa Blanca to join them in Moraira.
The bride wore a gorgeous white satin gown with a long train, the bridesmaids were in 'hot pink' satin, the flower girls had pretty white dresses and the page boy was in a kilt. The Groom and top men also wore traditional kilts- cool for the hot day. Flowers chosen were beautiful orchids.
Scottish Pipers added music to the occasion and the ceremony was both romantic and with humour. Champagne and canapes were then served outside, and later all went into the air conditioned restaurant for a delicious dinner.
After cutting the cake- the DJ played the first Dance- then the party and celebrations went on till late! It was a superb day, enjoyed by everyone- a superb Moraira wedding day. Congratulations to Becci & Gordon! We wish them every happiness in the future - especially when they move to Singapore.
Lianna & Gareth's Wedding in Moraira
Green was the theme for this wedding- set in tropical gardens on a very hot day. Relatives and friends flew here from the UK to witness this special event. With the guitarist playing, Lianna - in her beautiful crystal encrusted white gown - walked to the altar with her Father & Bridesmaid.
After the ceremony all enjoyed the champagne and canapes outside in the sun whilst photos were taken. Everyone soon cooled down when a wonderful dinner was served in the Restaurant. Later there were some hilarious speeches by the Brides Father, the Best man and Gareth.
As the sun set - adding a romantic pink light- the party continued outside with music and dancing till late.
A lovely day with lovely people. We wish the best of everything in the future to Lianna & Gareth and send congratulations.
Sinead & Stephen's Catholic Wedding in Denia
A wonderful day for music lovers! Sinead & Stephen wanted the whole special time to be filled with the best classical sounds we could find. The Denia church ceremony and service was complimented with the music of a string quartet from Valencia Conservatoire, 25 vocalists of the English choir, Joanna- soprano singer and musical Director, Jill- mezzo singer, and Ian Henry playing the pipe organ.
The colour theme co-ordinated throughout the day was lilac - to match the same colour on the altar cross- with the pretty flower girl in white, and the bridesmaids in beige with lilac sashes. The Bride was beautifully classical and elegant in a white gown with a long veil. The Groom and top men all looked very handsome in traditional tails. Many guests flew from Ireland and others were from Denia and area - where Stephen's Spanish Mother originated.
The couple, family and guests exited the church into the square, where the Javea Fiesta band played celebratory Spanish music, and cava was served. The guests were then transported by coaches back to the Hotel for the reception, where they were greeted with drinks and canapes by the pool and the music of a classical guitarist and a flautist.
Following the delicious meal in the ballroom, the party began with a big band, then a DJ played until guests were taken back to their accommodation at 4 a.m.
An amazing time- enjoyed by all- and we send very best wishes for a long, healthy, happy marriage together and our congratulations to Sinead & Stephen.
Mark & Kelly's Catholic Wedding in Moraira
60 guests from Holland and Ireland enjoyed the hot, sunny weather outside, and the air conditioning inside this pretty churchin Moraira. The beautiful blonde bride wore a white taffeta gown, with the bridesmaids in red, and the tiny page boy, who presented the rings, was in a white suit.
The marriage and service was conducted in Spanish & English, with classical bass singer John Edwards performing well known music such as Schubert's 'Ave Maria.'
Following photos outside the church & on the nearby beach, all returned to a stunning location - a Villa in Moraira, decorated with flowers, candles and balloons for the reception. Here with gorgeous gardens, a waterfall and pool, they were all welcomed with pink and white champagne.
The Chef and staff served many different items of fish, meat and vegetables from the BBQ, together with salads and various dips on the tables - which was enjoyed in the evening sunshine.
A guitarist/vocalist friend from Ireland then had everyone dancing till very late.
Congratulations to Kelly & Mark and best wishes for a very happy future together.
Ina & Pat's Wedding in Javea
A lovely local couple who decided, after some years together, that it was about time they were married in Javea as they lived there. Ina, escorted to the aisle by her two sons, was gorgeous in her white gown- with her bridesmaids in lilac satin. The ceremony took place overlooking the beautiful bay.
Friends and family from Spain and the UK enjoyed the drinks & canapes on the terrace after the wedding - with spanish guitar being played.
After dinner- 'Elvis' performed his show, and dancing carried on till very late.
Ina & Pat have already had many happy years together, so we wish them many more and send our congratulations!
Kelly & James's Wedding in Moraira
The arrival of the beautiful Bride in a Horse and Carriage gave rise to cheers and claps from an enthralled crowd of onlookers who lined the road to watch this Moriara Wedding. Kelly then opened a box and released some white doves into the air. She joined James at the altar, where family and friends witnessed the emotional ceremony overlooking the turquoise sea.
Glasses of cava and drinks from a sangria fountain were enjoyed along with the sunshine and beautiful views. Later in the Restaurant, dinner was served whilst Spanish classical guitar was played. The celebrations continued until the early hours with music by singer 'Soulja' and a DJ.
Congratulations to Kelly & James and best wishes for a long happy, healthy life together.
Lisa - May & Fred's Wedding in Moraira
A glorious sunny day for this couple to tie the knot in the tropical gardens of the Swiss Hotel, Moraira - with stunning flowers to add even more colour to the occasion. Lisa May & Fred exchanged vows and rings in front of guests from the UK and Spain in a religious ceremony.
Drinks and canapes were served to guests outside, followed by a delicious dinner in the restaurant. As it was a lovely warm evening, dancing was held by the pool with candles lit adding to the romantic feel.
We send our congratulations and wish them many happy years together.
Clare & Rob's Wedding in Denia
Over 100 guests flew from the UK and as far away as South Africa and New Zealand to witness Clare & Robs' wedding in Denia. Despite the rain showers at times, it was tropically warm and the sun shone for the ceremony. Clare was gorgeous in a classic white taffeta gown and was accompanied by their daughters as flower girls.
Drinks & delicious canapes were served, followed by dinner in the Reception room- with a flamenco show during the meal. Later on, after the speeches, the DJ started the celebrations with their first dance and the party continued until 3 a.m.
The couple have flown to Mallorca for their honeymoon so we wish them a wonderful time and send our Congratulations.
Wedding of Rima & Neil in Denia
A beautiful bride in a stunning setting. This rural Hotel was perfect for those who like the countryside in Spain - surrounded by forests and very tranquil.
Congratulations and best wishes to Rima & Neil for a happy future together!
Wedding of Yuki and Matthias in Benidorm
Although the sun shone, it was a windy day with clouds at times when this couple said their vows in a beautiful 5 star hotel near Benidorm in the Costa Blanca. Family & friends flew in from Japan & Germany especially for the celebrations. Yuki, looking stunning in her white full gown encrusted with jewels was given away by her Father.
At the end of the ceremony the bride was carried by the Groom through a heart shape cut out of material -a German tradition. This was followed with balloons released by guests.
Drinks and canapes were served on the terrace with Gus the magician showing off his skills, perfect for those who did not speak each others languages!
Later the wonderful dinner was served in the Restaurant overlooking the water features. Gus continued his magic tricks at each table around the room. At the end of the meal, Yuki changed into a beautiful red gown- which looked very Spanish! She and Matthias performed the Sake barrel ceremony- a Japanese tradition. The barrel was broken open with a hammer and each guest was served the drink in a wooden cup - inscribed with the couples' name and the date of the wedding.
The DJ played for the rest of the evening with hilarious Japanese games- such as catching oranges on a sword, and catching marshmallows in your mouth! What a fun night and enjoyed by all till the early hours! I had to learn some Japanese and improve on my rusty German language for this one- but it was well worth it.... this lovely couple and their guests were a delight to be with. This was one yet another wedding in Benidorm that was spectacular! We all wish them congratulations and many happy years together.
