SOLO ARTISTS
Remember the swinging sixties? If so, you are sure to recognise Ricky - who was born in South Wales. Ricky was awarded Silver,Gold & Platinum discs when his record "Tell Laura I love Her" soared to no. 1 in the British Charts in Sept. 1960. He continued to have chart hits with Columbia records and became an adored entertainer Worldwide.
Later in the 60's, after many hit records, Ricky branched out into acting, TV, theatre and one of his loves- Country Music. After many years of professional work, in 1989 he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he appeared on "Nashville Now" - broadcast on TV to over 70 million people. The reception was so fantastic he returned there to record his album "One of the Best."
In recent years Ricky has been seen in Cabaret all over the UK, Ireland, Spain and on cruise ships, and has settled in the Costa Blanca with his wife. He can also be seen playing golf at Charity events, has hosted his own "Talk Show in Spain," and is involved with the TV production of a golf based chat show "Play a Round With Ricky" A truly professional entertainer in every sense, who retains the vitality of youth with a mature rich full voice for Rock n Roll, Country and soft ballads. Tony has years of experience in UK clubs doing cabaret with comedy, oldies,pop & ballads. He has recently moved to the North Costa Blanca and is already receiving accolades and further bookings after a few performances! With songs such as 'Witchcraft,' 'You Raise me Up,' and 'Spirit in The Sky' -you will enjoy an evening with Tony at any venue or private Party.
Kevin was born in Liverpool and made his first stage appearance at the tender age of 5 in a Holiday camp in Wales. He started playing guitar, writing his own songs and formed the band 'A-Z' in 1980. They won many competitions and toured the UK, then Kevin left to join the popular Band 'Now Hear This' in 1990.
He went on to do theatre work and radio presenting before moving to Torrevieja, Costa Blanca, where he has been singing for 5 years. Kevin when solo performs many types of music from Rock, Country, Elvis, Tom Jones and Neil Diamond standards. He also plays in a duo with a guitarist, and has joined the amazing 6 piece band 'Reckless' ( more details coming soon)
If you viewed a UK TV Show called "Stars in Their Eyes" in the 90's, you may remember Derek. He also appeared on TV in "New Faces." A short while after he found fame, Derek decided to live abroad and had a successful career in Spain, but then returned to the UK for a long time due to a family illness. Now, after only a short time back in the Costa Blanca, Derek has already been booked by many venues in the area, including Bar Alcasar, Moraira, and Benidorm's famous nightspots - Jokers, Sinatra's, Tropical Club, and Rockerfellas.
A little comedy mixed with impressions of various famous stars makes for a superb evenings entertainment and great music. Juan is a very versatile entertainer with many years exerience playing Spanish guitar at hundreds of venues throughout the Costa Blanca. He has now unveiled his new duo- and can perform not only Spanish, but also many English songs- to suit every occasion.

Many people have seen the fantastic band called 'Calpe Rock' that are so popular here. What some of them don't know is that Vic has been a professional musician in the UK and Spain for over 20 years. This is as a soloist, also in a duo, as well as being the lead singer of the band here.
He is the most versatile of entertainers - being able to play and sing anything from Country & Western, rock n roll, 50s-90's music, and singalong/cockney - not to mention his expertise for line dancing. In fact Vic could play every night from Monday to Friday and you would not hear the same tune twice! For a huge variety of music you can't get better than this energetic diminutive lady with a large voice. Kinni has been singing since she was very young, and has been professional for over 11 years. She entertained audiences of all ages on cruise liners and in top Hotels. Her music ranges from pop to jazz, rock to blues, Country & Western, and even songs from musicals. She performs Streisand and Lulu with ease. She was also a professional dancer, training for 3 years at Dance College in London, but sadly - following injuries sustained in a car crash 4 years ago - she now cannot dance for long periods of time.
Kinni's face is well known as she has been seen on UK TV many times - including Big Breakfast, Ford Car adverts, and GMTV. She has also been on stage with Cliff Richard at Wembley stadium, and with Mick Hucknall from 'Simply Red.' This talented little lady trains new artists, writes her own music, is passionate about choreographing and producing shows, and has worked as an entertainments executive for a large Company in the UK. Kinni is now settled in the South Costa Blanca, nr Murcia, but she is willing to travel and has her own top class music equipment- she just loves doing cabaret! KIRSTY ORR - PIANIST Kirsty has been playing the piano from 5 years old and achieved her Grade 8 at The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, aged just 14. She went on to study music at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Since then Kirsty has worked professionally in many top venues such as Edinburgh Castle,Stirling Castle, The Sheraton Grande Hotel, and a 9 year residency at the Royal Scot Hotel, Edinburgh. Kirsty also works with many of the UK's top ceilidh bands, with whom she has travelled all over the UK, Cyprus and Bahrain. Kirsty also plays the Scottish Traditional Accordion, which is ideal for adding a real 'Scottish flavour' to any event. For wedding ceremonies she can use her electric piano which can create a church pipe organ sound if a more traditional ceremony is taking place. Kirsty's blend of soothing music and classic love ballads is the perfect addition to a cocktail party or corporate event. Her wide-ranging repertoire is ideal for adapting to suit any occasion.
Matthew is a new and exciting vocalist to the Costa Blanca. He boasts a varied repertoire, from Frank Sinatra to Robbie Williams, with musical content that has a varied style with up tempo songs, ballads and acapella numbers, showing not only his abilities but his own individual talents. He has an extremely powerful voice and along with a big personality that makes his act truly memorable. His voice has been favourably compared to that of George Michael, Elton John, and Tony Hadley.
Matthew finished in the top four of the National UK Talent Show – 'Stairway to the Stars 2000' - which was shown on national TV, where he was hailed as an artist who would never be out of work. His rendition of George Michael/Elton John’s – "Don’t let the sun go down on me" – must be heard to be believed. When he sings Bill Withers – "Lovely Day" – he has been recorded holding the same note for 38 seconds. Matthew can be seen regularly in many venues such as - 'Shores of London', Albir, 'Shamrock Tavern', Moraira, and 'Bar Fustera', Nr. Calpe.
This well-known artist has created a unique blend of Big Band Rock n Roll, Rhythm n Blues and Jump Jive rolled into one. With 30 years as a musician Dave started in the UK by playing in rock n roll bands at an early age, whilst studying classical music for 6 years. Although still young he was performing with many stars such as Bill Hayley, BB King, Chuck Berry, and Shakin' Stevens, Marty Wilde, The Batchelors, PJ Proby, Jess Conrad, and even Jasper Carrott!
Tours of Europe, 5 years in Scandinavia -where he is still a huge hit- and appearances on UK TV and radio followed- The Kenny Everett Show, Pebblemill at One, Old Grey Whistle test and more. Dave went on more tours in Russia, Hong Kong, The Phillipines, Europe and the USA over the years, and recorded many of his own songs.
Dave performed at the launching of Austin Powers' The Spy Who Shagged Me' at the Cannes Film Festival in May 1999, in front of VIP guests including a host of Hollywood stars and producers; Steven Spielberg, Sean Connery, Val Kilmer, Charles Bronson and Sir Richard Branson among others. He has recorded many CDs over the years too, and continues to produce new ones.
Now living in the Costa Blanca, Dave is currently building a new recording studio facility here, where his Midnight Rock Records label will be relocated soon. He has still found time to tour the UK, Italy and Spain whilst writing and recording more songs. There is so much to say about Dave, his work, and his achievements- but this quote sums him up-

He came 4th in the Spanish Entertainer of the year show in 1996 and in the same year wrote the music & lyrics for 'Heaven Scent' Recording Duo based on the Costa Del Sol. Ricky has appeared in Benidorm for two years at the popular Steptoes Clubs where guests came back many times to see his wonderful show.

This famous artist, with a magnificent professional pedigree in over 30 years of the music industry, is now living locally. From here he tours all over the World with other professional musicians, and combines this with his' **Art & Sound Studio' in Albir. He has also completed 4 seasons with P. & O. on their cruise ships in the Med. and Carribean.
Kev appeared in UK ITV's "Stars in Their Eyes" show as Thin Lizzys' Phil Lynnot, and has played in major arenas all over the World. You will have seen him playing in various bands:- CHRISTIE, SAXON, THE GONADS, and he now tours with the well known BC SWEET - a band formed as a tribute to the lead singer, Brian Connelly, (of the original famous 70s Glam Rock group- SWEET ) who sadly died in 1997 after a long illness.

This talented artist has travelled around the World performing in holiday venues, on cruise ships & in top Hotels. He now lives permanently in Torrevieja, but loves appearing in different places up and down the Coast. He is currently to be seen in 'Sands' Club, Altea on Thursday nights, Gran Sol Hotel, Calpe, and soon at the new 'Raffles' Piano Bar, Alicante. His previous shows have been at the Santa Pola Palace, and Palacio de la Musica, Torrevieja, all of which received wide acclaim.
If you are looking for some fun as well as a great variety of music- then book Simonjohn and his friends. José Louise Santa Cruz plays the saxaphone,and Warren, known as 'Snoopy,' on percussion. One of Benidorm's most loved artists. Ricky has been in the entertainment industry for 30 years as a top vocalist. He has performed in many shows, starred on TV, and travelled around Europe. With his huge range of music from Springsteen, Orbison, 60's music to strong ballads, Ricky is at present appearing at the Benidorm Palladium, and the Alfaz De Pi theatre in Jerry Lane's Xmas show. You can also see Ricky at Sinatra's Club, Benidorm.He would love to try a night or two somewhere different for a change, so is offering himself further afield- but please note he needs a PA in venues that book him.
Garry is well known for his performances locally in 'The Tailgate Jazz Band' & 'The Dixieland Band.' An experienced musician, who plays keyboard & trumpet, he is also a superb solo entertainer. Singing & playing jazz, swing, country & western, pop, and oldies - Gerry is ideal for a lively night out in the North Costa Blanca.
Irish singer / musician who is very popular at parties and in bars & restaurants. Des sings a wide variety of easy- listening songs and music you all know and can join in. Recently Des has formed a new group- 'DARK HORSE'

You should see Kerry's costumes when she sings 'Cher' - she looks and sounds just like her! Shania Twain songs also a speciality.

Ian has nearly 30 yrs experience as a professional entertainer, working all over UK & Europe as well as the USA & Bermuda. With his key board playing and comedy, he was highly successful, then made a decision to move to the Costa Blanca Gill has a wonderful voice and many years with bands, in cabaret, and on cruises before she settled in Spain.
Together as a duo, with music ranging from the 50's to modern day and a smattering of comedy, they are perfect for any occasion. Dinner dances are their speciality or private parties.
Vincent McKoy & Lorena Gomez amaze everyone with their fantastic different dance routines. Professional dancers for some years- they have toured Spain, the Ballearic islands and Portugal - appearing in many Hotels and at top venues. Their show includes a romantic comedy dance duet starring Charlie Chaplin, a Robotic Monster, impersonations of 'Michael Jackson', 'Prince' and 'The Mask', and acrobatic chair and hat routines in 1940's style.
Vicent and Lorena have also appeared as the entertainment for large events in Spain and Portugal - such as the National Darts Championships Presentation Ceremony, the World Championship Heats of the Rhythmic Gymnastics, a Vodafone Conference, and Christmas Specials in Casinos. Now settled nr Villajoyosa, this lovely couple can be booked for many areas of the Costa Blanca with a show guaranteed to be different!
Mikk- keyboard player, & Neil- vocalist & guitarist, perform a show that is flamboyant and glitzy - reminiscent of the 80s decade of music! With wigs, props and great costumes, they do all the 'Glam Rock' tunes you love to hear - including 'Status Quo,' 'Queen' & 'Frankie Goes to Hollywood'.
Both these guys have been professional musicians for some years. Neil has travelled the Uk and South Africa in several bands, and Mikk has been part of the 'The 8-Tiz,' which was originally a trio in the UK. Mikk entertained the audiences at Butlins, Center Parks, Liverpool Football ground and also was the support act for ' Bjorn Again' concert. They have now relocated to the Costa Blanca with a recording studio in Tagarina, nr Villajoyosa.With their own sound equipment and light show they are available for a party or event where you will be sure to have a fun night!
In 2005 this fantastic mother & daughter duo were named "The Official Benidorm Abba Tribute Show." Julie has had a long professional career, and appeared in the UK in the final of ITV's "Stars in their Eyes" Show as Cher. She is also known for her Tina Turner tribute; but although she occasionally performs solo, she loves appearing with her daughter Simone as the Abba girls.
Simone has been winning song & dance competitions since she was 2 years old. Also she is a talented actress appearing in many TV shows such as 'Casualty' and 'Spender.' Together as 'Abbafever' they have performed in many venues, most notably in the Hippodrome, London ( see photo above)
Their music of the 70's, dazzling costumes, and dance routines ensure that their whole show is a such a terrific experience-you will want to come back and see it again! 'Abbafever' can be booked for all venues and special events.

JOHANNA -Also soloist- for Jazz, Pop & Swing Music The talented Johanna studied singing and drama, and was a teacher for several years. She then joined the "Boulevard of Broken Dreams Orchestra" with whom she sucesssfully toured the Netherlands, Germany and Canada.
In 1989 she became the lead singer in the "Glenn Miller Orchestra," performing in some of the most prestigious concert halls and theatres in Europe. In 1994 Johanna lived in Kenya where she devoted her life to street children for 8 years. She came to Spain in 2002, where she has sung with some of the best musicians and as a soloist. She also teaches at the "Stage Door Performing Arts theatre school. With a wide range of music, Johanna can sing jazz, pop, blues, swing, big band and cabaret.
MAT Mat, with a velvet voice, started out in the 60's in a rock band. He continued to study music in his spare time, and sang in many styles from rock to classical and his speciality - American songs, whilst he worked as an engineer during the day. By coincidence he also moved to Liberia, W. Africa. where he stayed for 9 years.
Mat then returned to Holland where he joined a famous Dutch performer, Wieteke Van Dort, as a singer in her shows, as well as being the sound and lighting engineer. The show toured The Netherlands, Europe and the USA for 15 years.
In 2002, Mat moved to Spain where he has performed in several venues as a singer of classical music and with his repertoire of "The Great American Songbook"
JOHANNA & MAT The couple teamed up together when they discovered they shared a love of the same type of music and had many coincidences in their lives. Their show contains jazz, swing, pop, Sinatra, Latin American and big band music- with their voices harmonising beautifully , not to mention their fantastic sound system!

Andy studied at the Guitar Institute and has performed professionally for 30 years. He has featured on many famous albums such as those of Shirley Bassey and Donna Lewis. He also was seen in an amazing 700 shows as resident guitarist on BBC's 'Pebble Mill' over several years.
Other TV Specials where his music was heard are Starlight Express, Tommy, Grease and Phantom of The Opera. Andy has also composed music for many other well known TV shows such as Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld, Really Wild Show and Police, Camera, Action. With his wife Debby, as the duo 'The View'- they have played in 5 star Hotels in the Middle East and cruised with Holland America. As well as singing in 'The View, 'Andy currently appears locally in the very popular 4 piece band 'Paisley Park.' 'The View' are terrific to invite to your private party or venue-where they can perform all types of music, from The Shadows and Dire Straights to Chris Rea, and so much more.

Now based in Gandia, LaShion is from Atlanta, Georgia, and brings a special flavour of dance and music to this brilliant, energetic band. They have been performing recently at The Black Note Club, Tiki Bar and at the new disco Mya in the Arts & Science Centre, Valencia.
LaShion herself started dancing ballet,tap and gymnastics at the age of 3 and later added jazz and hiphop. She performed in stage musicals and opened her own dance school in Atlanta- moving a while later to San Franscisco. She was asked to sing in a band- which was the start of her musical and recording career with several bands.
Soon after recording her own album, LaShion moved to Valencia where she joined a band-Santaneta Rock, then a while later got together with great musicians to start her own band. Playing classic soul, disco,funk, blues, rock 'n' roll to modern day tunes- all lovers of high energy music will love them!
These guys are a live 4-piece band comprising a singer, guitarist, drummer and bass
guitarist. The music they play is taken from the most popular songs of
the 60´s, 70´s and the 80’s. It is the music that everybody knows and
has the ‘feel good factor’, which audiences can dance and sing along to.
The individuals of the band all have many years experience in playing
and performing to a wide range of audiences and aim to provide high
quality music and professionalism. Juke Box perform the music of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Queen, T-Rex, Santana, Van Morrison, The Searchers, Roy Orbison, The Commodores, The Temptations, Thin Lizzy and many more. They are based in the South Costa Blanca but are willing to travel -great for parties,weddings and any venue for a fun night out!
Available for any large shows- but the cost of flights from the UK and acommodation for some of the band members is included in their fee. Well worth the price though- back to back hits all the way- a superb nights entertainment for those 70's music lovers and fans of Brian Connelly's original group. See pic above with Kevin.
