MATT PHILLIPS - SOUL SENSATION - NEW in Costa Blanca Fresh and funky Soul & Motown singer Matt Philips is one of the hottest Male vocalists around. Based in the UK and now the Costa Blanca, Matt generates energy and excitement everywhere he performs.
The Soul and Motown show pays tribute to some of the fantastic artists from this style of music. Matt recreates the sounds of entertainers such as Luther Van Dross, Lionel Richie, George Benson, The Real Thing, Sam and Dave, The Temptations and many more, showing Matt’s versatility in performing.
His live performances and three CDs to date have earned him acclaim from audiences and recognition from persons within the music industry. He has worked with many well known artists including Beverley Knight, Joe Longthorne, Carolyn Foy, Nathan Moore (Brother Beyond), Lauren Samuels and Rowetta and performed for celebrity audiences including Mike Tyson, Nigel Benn, David Haye, Thomas Hearns and Roberto Duran.

FRANCIS ALAN - Vocalist - Costa Blanca Francis was very successful and popular here in Spain for some years, but life took him back to the UK. Newly married, he is here again with his new wife DJ Shirley. He has a fantastic voice and loves doing 'oldies' - Cliff, Sinatra, Elvis, Bobby Darin,etc. Also he can do a Neil Diamond Tribute Cabaret Show.
Francis & Shirley can also complete the night with a disco or karaoke. IRISH DES - Vocals and guitar - Costa Blanca A favourite in the area for some years- Des’s background in music began in Ireland playing as a youngster with many show band musicians. This gave him a great musical grounding in a variety of genres from pop, rock, jazz and country.
He then formed his own highly successful band, and went on to make numerous television and radio appearances, as well as playing in all the top venues in Ireland and the UK. He is a published composer and a member of the Performing Rights Society.
Des sings, plays guitar (acoustic and electric) mandolin, and piano. He includes all the Irish favourites and is delighted to play requests, with the emphasis on creating a good “craic”. Every set is tailored to the particular audience and this is why he is so popular for private functions, restaurants etc. He is also the lead singer/guitarist with Celtic band The ShamRockers, and one half of acoustic piano/guitar duo One Spirit. WILL CHANDLER- SIR CLIFF RICHARD TRIBUTE SHOW "Cliff… As If " - is a top tribute act celebrating the great music of Sir Cliff Richard and is performed by Will Chandler, considered by many to be the number 1 Sir Cliff Richard performing lookalike in the world.
'Cliff… As If' show started in 2007 in anticipation of Sir Cliff’s 50th Years in show business in 2008. Since then, the show has traveled extensively across the UK and Europe appearing at theatres, holiday resorts, clubs, private functions, corporate events and music festivals. 'Cliff… As If 'is not just about music but also comedy. Will takes a very light-hearted approach to his tribute to the Peter Pan of Pop and laughs are plentiful in the show - everyone is invited to join in the fun with the ‘Summer Holiday Conga’ and the ‘Livin’ Doll Rock’.
Will performs most of the well known Sir Cliff Richard songs from the past 5 decades as well as many other songs by famous artists in various genres. You can hear Will singing as Cliff performing some of the great songs of Elvis Presley, Matt Munro, Frank Sinatra, Ronan Keating, The Beatles, Bill Hayley and many other great names of the popular music world.
Will also has a Christian faith and really enjoys taking the Cliff…As If' show ‘Popspel’ to many church organisations and events. Popspel is a show designed for everyone and includes many of Cliff’s most famous songs, as well as a few of the gospel songs for which he is renowned. Gig report- Le Cabaret 23th November 2010 Will Chandler-direct from the UK for 1 night only with his fabulous show CLIFF.. AS IF Being a Cliff fan, and seeing his very professional concerts on many occasions, I was looking forward to viewing Will's show, as he is supposed to be one of the best Cliff Tribute acts in Europe. I was not disappointed...
Will gave 2 hours of a high energy performance and at times I was transported back 20 years as he not only looked like Cliff, he danced the right moves and sang like Cliff! The ladies enjoyed being involved as Will roamed the floor singing to them and presenting red roses. Everyone was delighted to sing along to such famous hits as 'Bachelor Boy', 'Move It', 'Devil Woman', 'Congratulations', and more.
Later Will performed some of Cliff's favourite Elvis tunes and we also had a taste of Cliff's latest style- Big Band music. With some humorous stories and jokes added, and the audience joining in the dancing around the room and going on stage - great fun was had by all.
Will is based in Manchester, UK - but visits Portugal regularly where he is seen in Cliff's own vineyards to entertain guests. He would love to visit Spain more often- so call and book him -you will not be disappointed either....

Show report at Le Cabaret - July 2010 - Fans of Michael will probably never get the chance to travel to Canada or the USA to see his show- but Simon gave a nights entertainment just like the real man himself!
With all your favourite Michael Buble songs- and an extra half hour of dance music- Simon did not disappoint with his lovely velvet voice and slick style. The packed audience were treated to a wonderful evening and kept asking for more.... Do you Remember the
swinging sixties? If so, you are sure to recognise Ricky Ricky was awarded Silver, Gold & Platinum discs when his record "Tell Laura I love Her" soared to No. 1 in the British Charts in September 1960. He continued to have chart hits with Columbia Records and became an adored entertainer Worldwide.
Later in the 60's, after many hit records, Ricky branched out into acting, TV, theatre and one of his loves- Country Music. After many years of professional work, in 1989 he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he appeared on "Nashville Now" - broadcasting on TV to over 70 million people. The reception was so fantastic he returned to Nashville to record his album "One of the Best."
In
recent years Ricky has been seen in Cabaret all over the UK, Ireland,
Spain and on cruise ships,
and has settled in the
Costa Blanca with his wife. He can also be seen playing golf at Charity
events, has hosted his own "Talk Show in Spain," and was involved with
the TV production of a golf based chat show called "Play a Round With
Ricky" A truly professional entertainer in every sense, who retains the vitality of youth with a mature rich full voice for Rock n Roll, Country and soft ballads. Ricky is available at certain times for shows in the Costa Blanca.
He is in the UK for much if the time now but would love to take bookings for weddings, private parties or any Cabaret venue when he has a free date. JESS CONRAD 60's Icon and International Film, TV, Stage & Singing Star Jess Conrad performed a one- off sensational show at Le Cabaret, a popular local venue. "Totally brilliant," " Fantastic and so enjoyable," and " It was the best!" were words exclaimed by the audience after the show. With a mixture of 'oldies' from the 50's and early 60's and Jess's own brand of humour and jokes-it was a captivating, fun and nostalgic evening. One lady visiting showed Jess her book with pictures of him in it that she had kept since the age of 14!
His lovely wife of over 40 years-Renee - told me that Jess still made her heart beat when he went on stage- how's that for love!? They jetted off to Cyprus for 5 days of appearances, then back to the UK for the release of a new Kevin Spacey film about the 60's in which Jess appears, as well as a 2 days 'Jess Conrad films' extravaganza in Manchester... We all enjoyed the evening and their company, and hope that Jess & Renee will be able to fit in another visit in their very busy schedule before too long. If anyone is interested in Jess performing in the Costa Blanca he may have an available date if you ask. Gig Report January 25th 2011- JESS CONRAD at Le Cabaret Jess, a well known actor & singer from the late 50's & 60's, appeared to a packed audience in this great music venue for a one night only show.
Even if you had never heard of him, what a great night you would have had - full of comedy, and many stories of his life and whom he worked with, as well as the great 'oldies' music where everyone raised the roof with their voices!
Fans of Jess were there, as well as new admirers, to watch this 60's icon perform. He deservedly had a standing ovation at the end - a true professional at work for a brilliant evening. Don't miss him next time!

He has also been seen on all the major TV channels in the UK. He has his own Beatles Tribute and Rock Band-Backbeat 4 ( see Duos/Bands page) RICKY PRICE - ELTON JOHN TRIBUTE SHOW- Costa Blanca Currently performing regular gigs in Benidorm, Ricky has a show to appeal to all ages and especially Elton John fans.
He has the original backdrop of film- as used by Elton himself- and approved by him for Ricky to show- of favourites such as 'Lion King'and 'Marilyn Monroe. '
He has toured all over and been voted as one of the top Elton tributes in the World, and is the only one in mainland Spain.
Gig report April 2011-Le Cabaret Cheryl M followed by Ricky Price starring as Elton John A wonderful evenings entertainment as usual to a full house! Cheryl M, a lady with an amazing voice, direct from the UK, started off the night with a variety of classic pop songs and ballads.
Ricky followed as Elton, and sang all your favourite music- which by the end of the evening had everyone up dancing and having fun. It's hard to distinguish him from the real Elton to look at or hear. A fun night full of humour, good sounds, great costumes and the spectacle of the filmed backdrops - enjoyed by all.
15th May 2010- Amazing Tribute to Elton John at Le Cabaret Ricky Price as Elton John burst onto the stage with a new Las Vegas video backdrop- singing "Pinball Wizard" The audience loved him from the first minute...and agreed it was hard to tell Ricky from the real musician.
With music spanning all Elton's career he soon had everyone singing their hearts out and laughing at his jokes. Another great nights entertainment..... He won the Bass brewery ‘star search’ competition in Blackpool, and recently he's studied and performed in musical theatre.
Rob is a versatile and polished performer with a rich, powerful voice, singing everything from sixties pop to the present, with show songs, and many classics.
He loves appearing for special occasions, presentation evenings, weddings and corporate events, but also enjoys a more intimate audience in bars and restaurants.
Gig Report - Le Cabaret- 18th December 2010 Rob Sweeney - new solo vocalist Rob arrived in August this year to live in the North Costa Blanca and has already proved to be very popular here.
He has a lovely rich voice and at times sounded like Michael Buble. The packed audience enjoyed the great variety of different music from all eras. Rob worked energetically all evening and received tremendous cheers for his uplifting performance. LENNY MITCHELL - GUITAR/SINGER Lenny has played guitar for many top names in the music business for years. He is one of those rare musicians who can turn his hand to any musical genre one would care to name.
He played his first gigs in pubs up & down the Old Kent Road. In 1975, as lead guitarist & harmony singer on a 7 month European tour, he returned as a seasoned professional still only 16 years old! Thirty years of extensive sessions & countless gigs led to retirement in rural France, & building his own studio for recording his own songs. Now performing solo in Spain , Lenny is just as at home in a small friendly bar as the biggest venue. His repertoire ranges from Country to Rock and Roll or a 60's night, and his excellent guitar playing will delight all age groups. Lenny can be seen anywhere along the Costas- from Cartagena to Torrevieja North. Lenny can entertain you with 60s through to 90s music with a fantastic voice and superb guitar work and rock the venue all night! BARRINGTON - VOCALIST / MC Soul, Motown, and Reggae are usually the main type of music that Barrington performs- however he can sing most genres and is also well known for his MC work at events and weddings Being in the music industry since the age of 16- he has huge experience of venues all over Europe - such as Portugal, Switzerland, France - as well as being a top DJ on London radio.
He has also performed in many Hyatt International Hotels round the World, but in 2003 decided to settle in the Murcia region of Spain, where he has residencies in 2 venues. Barrington is also well known for his themed nights- Caribbean, 60's or 70's evenings, Motown and Cruise ship evenings, and Fun Nights for charity. STEWART COLLIER - vocals and ace guitarist Stewart is a writer, producer guitarist and singer, with over 20 years experience in the industry. He has worked with some famous names in the music industry- Meatloaf, Aerosmith, Primal Scream, Alice Cooper, and Alanis Morrisette to name just a few. He also has played as 'Kurt Cobain' in one of the Worlds top 'Nirvana' tribute band.
RICHIE T - Vocalist and Live Guitar Richie has been playing guitar and singing as a professional since he was 18.
He played in
several bands in the UK before forming top band
Sea-Saw-
who were very popular in the UK and Europe. He also formed top

Blondish and
supported several top artists such as
Blacklace, Smokie,
Lenny Henry and Hazel O'Connor.
MALCOLM ADAMS - Vocalist and live guitar Malcolm has been living in the North Costa Blanca since 1999, and offers a selection of music for all ages and tastes. Every song is a trip down memory lane and will get your feet tapping.
He has a great play list- that includes The Beatles, Bob Dylon, The Eagles,Dire Straits, Everlys, Buddy Holly, Mavericks, Elvis Costello, Cliff, Bread, Wilson Pickett and E.L.O. to name but a few! Niamh's solo repertoire is varied with something for everyone, with 60's music right through to the current time. Her exciting playlist includes a mix of Rock, Blues, Jazz, Soul, Dance & Pop favourites. Everything from Amy Winehouse to Amy McDonald, Mary Black to Mary J Blige, and oldies such as The Beatles, The Stones & Monkees- and modern favorites such as The Black Eyed Peas.
